Operationalization of Engagement of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) Agencies for the purpose of inspection of goods and process inspection for Indian Railways. The contract has been signed with four TPI Agencies for both product and process inspection for a period of three years. The TPI Agencies will carry out inspection work, including preparation of inspection schemes, conducting inspections, and reporting outcomes. The guidelines for operationalization of engagement of TPI Agencies have been issued, and all inspection work will be done through these empanelled agencies after the commencement of their contracts. |
